Table Of Contents:
Summary:
A Trolley owned by the Town of Lake George provides weekly transportation to Glens Falls and Queensbury for residents.
Body:

A trolley purchased by the Town of Lake George and once used by the Glens Falls Transportation Corporation has been repainted and redesigned to be used for the Town.  The service of providing transportation primarily to senior citizens had been previously contracted out on an annual basis.  Beginning in 2007, the Town began providing this service with its own equipment and a special driver, Don Fangboner.

The trolley goes to Glens Falls and Queensbury every Wednesday taking riders to their stores of choice, i.e. grocery stores, the mall, etc., and then picking them back up returning to Lake George when the shopping is done.

To get additional information on this service and to participate in it, call Lucy Abrahams, 668 3163.
