At the Town Board Meeting on September 12, 2005, Supervisor Tessier read a letter from the Attorney General's Office alerting the public of problems associated with pressure treated wood containing arsenic. There had been a brochure published by the Attorney General amplfying on the concerns. This publication is available at the Office of the Town Clerk, on line at the Attorney General website: oag.state.ny.us, or as a link with this article. Those using pressure treated lumber are encouraged to find out about the problems associated with using this type of lumber.
